Happy 2006 to All !
By all reports, the New Year Eve party was a great
success ( due to unforeseen circumstances I had to
leave early ) Thanks to all who participated in
the evening and most especially to all the ladies
who helped with the cooking, serving and the
desserts, and the cleaning up afterward, you did
an excellent job. The decorations for both the
Christmas Party and New Years were excellent
thanks to all who helped especially, Norma, Nancy,
Ian and Don.
Another thank-you goes out to the ladies (
Norma-Foley and Winnie MacDonald ) who organized
the Children Christmas Party and all the helpers
who participated in the day, once again a job well
done.
Please consider joining us for the
breakfast being put on by the ladies Chapter Ways
and Means Committee and the Lodge Legion. They
taste great, are reasonably priced and they’re a
lot of fun. Make a date and meet your friends
there. the next Chapter Breakfast is on February
5th from 9:00am to 10:30am followed by a meeting
of the Higher Degrees at 11:00am in the Lodge. The
next Legion Breakfast is on March 19th from 9:00am
to 11:00am.
Its time of the year of the year again
ladies, Chapter Elections. Please consider holding
an office for the coming year. If you are
interested in either an elected or appointed
office please contact one of the officers and they
will let you know the process. We cannot have a
Chapter without your help !
